Look Out 2012!
The year 2012 brings many new exciting changes to our ballooning family, so let's bring you all up to speed.
SunKiss Ballooning's commercial ride business has been doing great!! We are flying high, staying busy, and sharing these first magically moments with lots of new customers. Our season will kick off this weekend with our participation in the Lake George Winter Carnival. We will be do tethered rides at Gas Light Village (there is still no ice) on Saturday and Sunday mornings at 8AM. This coming Saturday, February 4th we will be participating in the carnival's parade that kicks off at 4PM starting at the Prospect Mountain Diner. We will be with the carnival every weekend in February. We then start our ballooning circuit with Eagles Peak the first weekend in June. From there we will head on down to Copake, NY for Camp Waubeeka June 22nd-24th. Attending and flying for PNC Bank in Readington NJ for our third year in a row in July. Then we will start our Canadian run, return home for the Adirondack Balloon Festival and still manage to fit in all of our regular passengers in the mean time. Don't forget Valentine's Day is just around the corner...what is more romantic than a hot air balloon ride as a Valentine's Day gift...give us a call and we will give you a "sweet" deal! The SunKiss Balloon Festival will have some exciting news in the coming weeks pertaining to the this years Festival, we just don't want to spill the beans too soon, so stay tuned! We have lots of new exciting things to add, new members involved, and new interested sponsors. Keep an eye on our website www.sunkissballooning.com/festival as well as our Facebook fan page for the big announcements coming up...
Monahan Airways has entered into contracts to purchase two new balloons, the Little Fireman, and "Squirt" the Fire Hydrant. Be sure to check them out on our our Facebook fan pages. We tentatively will be in New Jersey, Penn., several events in Canada, New Mexico, and Texas. We will continue to post our schedule of events as it grows.
